Parking capacity in and around the MBTA station is extremely constrained and many will not find a parking space.  Here’s what you can do to avoid the crunch at the depot.

Other stations include Salem Ferry in the Derby Street neighborhood, and Front Street/Derby Square Downtown. Should the Federal Street/MBTA station fill up, please park bicycles at the Front Street/Derby Square station 3 blocks away (5-minute walk to the MBTA station.)
  • Walk to the commuter rail station (click on the blue diamond to note your start/end point and mode of travel – Make sure to click on the walker icon for a walking route!) – If you live between 1-3 miles of the station, this is another great way to get your daily exercise.  It’s great for you and for the environment.
